"Our first grand baby was born in March, of 2017. We now have 3 precious grandchildren. I am attaching one of my favorite pictures of our family. ALL of our family pictures, since then, have been taken by Emily. As you can see, our family could be difficult to photograph - because we have several different skin tones. "Emily is the absolute sweetest and a miracle worker of a photographer. We've had 4 extended family sessions in the last 3-4 years and they've all been with Emily and they've all been such easy, enjoyable sessions. As a mom of two squirrely boys, I've always been a little nervous about having their pictures taken because they do not like to cooperate MOST of the time. Emily is SO patient with the kids, taking her time to get good shots, even when they REALLY make her work for it. We have never felt like we were on a time crunch and that we had to hurry up and get the pictures because the clock was ticking. She takes her time and at the end she asks if there's any other pictures we want, so we have a chance to add any poses if we want. Even without an official allotted time for the session, we have always managed to get all of our pictures taken in under an hour. Even family members who are more likely to grumble about family pictures (ahem, men) have walked away pleasantly surprised at how simple and painless it was. 😛
On top of that, I love her editing style. The pictures are so beautifully edited and the colors all look so natural. Other photographers have a more noticeable 'tone' or 'filter/preset' that they favor and their pictures tend to look the same, even from family to family. Emily's pictures appear to be ever so slightly edited to enhance the natural colors without making anything look heavily edited. They are beautiful to display and I only wish I had more wall space so I could showcase more of her work.
Had ton include one of my favorite pictures, which was the result of one of those, 'Any other pictures you guys want?' moments and then my husband requested them running towards her. It turned out so sweet."
